Covenant of the River

The Northern Colorado Covenant of the River, of Fort Collins, CO, has been an active part of the greater Pagan community for over 6 years. We are a family friendly, eclectic group who gathers to explore, exchange knowledge, learn about and further understand our own Spiritual Paths, while finding acceptance within the comfort of an open circle atmosphere. The Northern Colorado Covenant of the River is a place where all with an open heart and mind are welcome. Come out and meet local Pagans, Asatru, Buddhists, Druids, Wiccans, Witches and other practitioners on a Pagan Path. Our activities and topics vary from week to week to support our diversity and also to celebrate the Wheel of the Year. Join us to share ideas and lore, make friends, craft tools and other items, write and perform ritual, participate in lively discussions and to explore the rich and varied practices of the Pagan traditions. This website is a living work of love and will be updated as often as possible, so please check in often to see what we have planned.

The Earth was cold, winters chill
we huddled close lest our spirit it kill
in hearth and heart we held our hope
of spring’s warm sun we fondly spoke.

Now the Goddess comes
returns to us all
The God comes
he heeds our call.

In lovers embrace they shall bring back the green
each kiss, each touch brings back leaf and bean.
The love they share brings heat and sun
may the spell they weave be not undone.

I see them approach, the Green Man and May Queen
In splendor and greatness seldom seen.
We welcome now our Lord and Lady
open our hearts, the folk stand ready.

This should be a joyful celebration, filled with love, laughter, and life. http://www.oocities.org/the_pagan_heart/Articles/Festivals/May05.html

Event Updated…

*******

Just in case you hadn’t noticed.. Fort Collins received a beautiful blessing of snow. The Sanctuary is blanketed in 20 inches of whiteness and that means that we most likely will not be able to work with the rocks or dirt.

But we are flexible right? And we have an indoor space that could use a little TLC as well. So this Sanctuary work day will be devoted to the cleaning and organizing the Hall.

If you have any questions, please contact the Council . ********
