The Northern Colorado Covenant of the River, of Fort Collins, CO, has been an active part of the greater Pagan community for over 5 years. We are a family friendly, eclectic group who gathers to explore, exchange knowledge, learn about and further understand our own Spiritual Paths, while finding acceptance within the comfort of an open circle atmosphere. The Northern Colorado Covenant of the River is a place where all with an open heart and mind are welcome. Come out and meet local Pagans, Asatru, Buddhists, Druids, Wiccans, Witches and other practitioners on a Pagan Path. Our activities and topics vary from week to week to support our diversity and also to celebrate the Wheel of the Year. Join us to share ideas and lore, make friends, craft tools and other items, write and perform ritual, participate in lively discussions and to explore the rich and varied practices of the Pagan traditions. This website is a living work of love and will be updated as often as possible, so please check in often to see what we have planned.
New Moon Spontaneous Drum Circle and Park Cleanup
How to find us: A mile east of College, 1/2 mile North of Harmony. We’ll meet under the pavilion by the playground.
Celebrate the joyful manifesting energy of the New Moon, and bring your drum (or other noisemakers). Jean and Jim will be leading the evening’s Circle.
We will eat our traditional potluck, clean the park and then drum up the new moon. If you have a drum or rattle please bring it. If not there will be some Covenant can provide.
Please note, as a park cleanup this event starts at 5, not 5:30.
Craft Night - 4/8/12
So the event was title Tin Yard Art, tin being a traditional material for work this time of year in several traditions. We under estimated the expense of tin and the difficulty of working with it though. So we used aluminum instead.
We had a lot of fun working some aluminum foil into various crafty shapes and making votive holders out of it and some mason jars and re-purposed glasses. Fun times were had standing around being crafty and now we have a wonderful new candle holder that lets the candle light shine out in the shapes and patterns we chose.

Crafting for Beltania Part 2
How to find us: Pass through the gate on western (garage) side of house then enter through the yellow door into River Hall.
The first night was a success, although we didn’t complete everything. Please consider giving some time to help us build the crafting kits for all of our activities at Beltania.
If you have questions, please contact the Council.
Elemental Magick Series Part 2: Air
Jordans presentation was very well researched. Crossing all spectrum’s of religious use of the Element Air. From Greco-Roman to Native American. Names, symbols and lots and lots of correspondences.
I particularly found the fact that the Chinese don’t really use elemental air except for maybe to send prayers thru while flying kites.

Yard Sale
How to find us: Pass through the gate on western (garage) side of house then enter through the yellow door into River Hall.
Who can get up and be at the Hall before sunrise? Who wants to give us a break around ten? We can always use fresh hands around one for breakdown..
It takes a lot to make these things happen. The Covenant could use the dollars, and you could use the fellowship in a Sunny front yard. Never mind all the closet space that you’ll find when you bring us your donations!
Lunch will be provided, please bring sides or breakfast stuff to share with the volunteers.
If you need more info, contact the Council.

We will be working from five to ten pm. Please bring your own dinner and beverage, and a snack to share if you are able. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty in.
This is also a good time to bring us your donations.

Elemental Magick Series Part 4: Water
How to find us: Pass through the gate on western (garage) side of house then enter through the yellow door into River Hall.
The four elements play an integral part of many paths. As pagans we celebrate them as separate entities, as being made up of tangible energies and beings, and we bring them in to our Circles so that we can honor them. In an effort to make them more tangible, to help us understand the elements and incorporate them more seamlessly into our Rituals, The Council is presenting a four part series on Elemental Magick. We will begin in the North and circle around through the elements over the course of four months.
Closed for Beltania
The majority of the Covenant, along with the entire Council will be breaking down the Beltania Festival grounds this Mother’s Day.
We encourage you to connect with the Divine feminine influences in your life, whether they are your actual Mom or a deity that guides you through the day.
We’ll see you guys the next week for a spontaneous New Moon Drum Circle. Blessings!

Full Moon Beltane Celebration
How to find us: Pass through the gate on western (garage) side of house then enter through the yellow door into River Hall.
The Covenant’s Beltane Ritual will be blending in the power of the Full Moon.
Give way the cold, let the thaw begin
As Winter transforms to Spring again.
Let all creatures of cold slumber rise
And feathers on wings fill the skies.
We will celebrate into the night
Our passage into this Pagan Rite,
Let all hear the drumming sound
For the seeds of Beltane have gone to ground.
Our heritage passed hand to hand
And shoulder to shoulder we will stand
By the water’s edge for all to see
Sending love to the Universe, Blessed Be.
