Covenant of the River

The Northern Colorado Covenant of the River, of Fort Collins, CO, has been an active part of the greater Pagan community for over 9 years. We are a family friendly, eclectic group who gathers to explore, exchange knowledge, learn about and further understand our own Spiritual Paths, while finding acceptance within the comfort of an open circle atmosphere. The Northern Colorado Covenant of the River is a place where all with an open heart and mind are welcome. Come out and meet local Pagans, Asatru, Buddhists, Druids, Wiccans, Witches and other practitioners on a Pagan Path. Our activities and topics vary from week to week to support our diversity and also to celebrate the Wheel of the Year. Join us to share ideas and lore, make friends, craft tools and other items, write and perform ritual, participate in lively discussions and to explore the rich and varied practices of the Pagan traditions. This website is a living work of love and will be updated as often as possible, so please check in often to see what we have planned.

Martial Arts as a Spiritual Practice

This class is now closed to new students. If you have missed a few classes you can still catch up and return, but if you have not attended up to this point and wish to join you will need to speak with Jordan first to ensure that you get everything out of the class.

Full Moon Gathering

Park Clean-up and Camping Discussion

How to find us: A mile east of College, 1/2 mile North of Harmony. We’ll meet under the pavilion by the playground.

Our first summer time park cleanup of the year! The sunlight sticks around long enough now that we can enjoy the potluck and evenings’ activity at Landings Park.

We share in a potluck feast first, then we walk the eight acres of adopted space and pick up trash. After the bags are tied and hands are washed, we will hold a discussion on our upcoming camping season.

Please bring a dish to share. No glass. Covenant of the River will provide dishes, utensils, water and such. We also travel with sunscreen, bug spray and a first aid kit.

On the third Thursday of each month, Jean will hold space for folks who need to chat or watch flames dance or recharge in the Sanctuary. The evening is unstructured and family friendly. If you have need of quiet or ritual, please contact Jean, and we will make arrangements to support you.

If you intend to burn something in the fire it must be made of natural materials and safe to burn.

As we head into the warmer months, there is hope that we will be able to sit around an actual fire.

Spread a little rock, plant a few plants and kill a whole lot of others.. It will be a good day to bring sunscreen, a water bottle and some light yard work tools. The Council will have a list of projects we’d like to get done to beautify our sacred space and we’d like to share in the work with you.

Goddess Pendants **new date and location**

**Due to unforeseen circumstances, we will be unable to meet at the Hall this Sunday. Please join us at Landings park, for potluck and pendant making. We will not be cleaning up the park but of course will leave the pavilion better than we found it. **

Making your own jewelry can be a powerful way to integrate magical practices into your everyday life and this Sunday we will be forming our own goddess pendants from polymer clay.

This gathering will be a little different.. We will be feasting after the presentation and the results of Council’s presentation will be part of the feast.

This honoring of Beltane is an adults only, skyclad optional ritual held after dark. The Council will be skyclad for the ritual but attendees are welcome to be in any state of undress that they are comfortable with.

At last Winter is at an end and it’s time for all of Earth’s children, including us, to come out and play! Join us to help Turn the Wheel and awaken the abundance of Springtime with sacred silliness. Please bring rattles, noise-makers, fans etc to help us awaken the slumbering spirits of the Earth and bring in the new season with laughter, play, and song.

We will gather at 1, with the first Ritual starting at 130.

Bottling Mead

We had intended to bottle our mead at the last Council Office Hours, but this is a task better done when the weather is clear. So we have rescheduled it. If you are interested in coming to help us bottle the mead, or to learn about the process, this is your chance. And, a bonus, when working with mead you get to taste it.

Park Cleanup and Vision Boards

This will be the last winter schedule park cleanup. We meet at Landings Park early at 3:30pm to try to catch the most sunshine. Please bring work gloves, a water bottle and dress for the unpredictable Colorado weather. We will care for our adopted space and then head back to the Hall for the evening’s activity which begins with a potluck at 5:30pm.
