Full Moon Ritual

10/13/2019 5:30 pm
River Hall - 901 E. Swallow Rd. Fort Collins, CO

How to find us: Pass through the gate on western (garage) side of house then enter through the yellow door into River Hall.

Celebrate this October Full Moon in wonder through the eyes of a child! While respectful and using many elements of our typical Full Moon Rituals, the tone will be a little more fanciful and joyful.

Do you remember seeing the moon as a child and all the ways you felt? The awe and fantastic imaginings. She smiled down on you and your child’s wonder. She still does.

Sunday the 13th, as part of our usual Sunday potluck and gathering, we will celebrate the full moon with a ritual to honor the goddess with the simplicity, joy, and wonder of children. Ritual garb encouraged but not required. Family friendly, children encouraged!

Hopefully, outside but given our earlier start we are unlikely to see the moon above the Sanctuary during ritual. If you want to bring something from nature to put on the altar such as a stone, feather, shell, flower, sticks, small pumpkin, ashes… anything that you can see one or more of the four elements within. Let me know if you have questions or ideas.

Please bring a dish and/or beverage to share in our potluck feast, if you are able. All dishes, utensils and drinking water are provided at the River Hall. The evening will be kid friendly.

Monetary donations are always appreciated to offset general costs but gifts of hp laserjet print cartridges (cf283A), bungee cords and hot hand (hand warmers) are also welcome! Donations of time toward the upkeep and care of our Hall and Sanctuary are also appreciated.
(Chel would like to point out that HOT HANDS are the gift of the Lady of the South and joyfully thanks her and anyone who donates them)

Please park on Swallow Road, not in the cul-de-sac. Thank you.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the Council. Blessings!
